About The Role

We are expanding our commercial team with the addition of a Senior Business Development Representative, initially on a 12-month basis as a maternity cover, but with potential for a permanent position beyond that.


The key objective of the Senior Business Development Representative will be to source and book meetings for our sales team, with a focus on front-line prospect outreach to generate qualified opportunities for our sales team. This will require building strong relationships with potential customers and decision-makers at multiple levels in our prospective client organisations.


You’ll receive comprehensive onboarding and training in your first month, with clear responsibilities outlined during the interview process.


Responsibilities

Outbound


  1. Develop and execute innovative outbound strategies and campaigns to identify and engage potential customers.
  2. Identify and engage the client to understand needs and challenges.
  3. Own accounts and tasks in the BD top of funnel pipeline through to qualified.
  4. Collaborate with the commercial team to explore new product/market fit segments for Cathx products/solutions.
  5. Execute sales plays using HubSpot sequences and meet weekly and monthly prospecting activity targets.

Inbound


  1. Respond promptly and professionally to inbound inquiries, owning the process through initial qualification.
  2. Partner closely with marketing to ensure alignment between business development and campaign strategies, contributing to planning and execution.

Qualifications
  1. Degree in Business, Communication or related field.
  2. 1 – 2 years’ experience in a quota carrying position.
  3. Experience with outreach prospecting.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Strong time management and organisational skills.
  6. Experience in the offshore or subsea industry in a similar role is an advantage.
  7. Previous experience with marketing automation tools like Hubspot is an advantage.

Location

Ireland, UK, Europe or USA-based candidates will be considered in line with time zone and market considerations.
