Job Description:Great opportunity for a Director of Nursing (DON) to join a nursing home team of dedicated healthcare professionals in a beautiful residential setting located just south of Dublin. The nursing home, with well-appointed rooms, is committed to providing exceptional care and creating a warm, supportive environment for both residents and staff. As the DON, you'll lead a nursing team, ensuring the highest standards of care and helping to shape the future of this facility.

Requirements:- Minimum 3 years of experience as a registered nurse in the last 6 years in care of the older person.
- Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Post registration in management qualification (QQI Level 6 minimum).
- Post Graduate diploma in Gerontology is desirable.
- Working knowledge of HIQA standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Sound decision-making ability and results-driven.
- To provide support, advice, and guidance to the Home by way of an on-call arrangement.
- To co-manage and support all departments including nursing, household, maintenance, and catering staff.
- Good appreciation of finance issues.
- Ability to motivate self and others and work on own initiative.
- Ability to work well and promote a team environment.
- 25 Days Annual Leave.

Job Requirements:The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of nursing practices and HIQA regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred).
- Qualification in Management.
- Active NMBI Registration.
- Minimum 3 years of experience within the last 5 years in a leadership role in a nursing home setting.
- Strong understanding of nursing practices, HIQA regulations, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience managing budgets and resources.
- Excellent leadership qualities.
