Our client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company, is undergoing significant expansion and transformation within their Dublin-based manufacturing site and global operations. As a result, they are looking to strengthen their Operational Excellence team by hiring an experienced Operational Excellence Project Manager for a contract role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Lean manufacturing projects across Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain operations to drive cost savings and improve efficiency.
  • Support bids for NPIs and strategic projects through labour and equipment analysis.
  • Manage recipe/routings for key operational areas.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions, including Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Quality.
  • Oversee Program/Project lessons learned processes and drive continuous improvement within the PMO.
  • Lead and support site-wide strategic improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide training, coaching, and stakeholder engagement to achieve sustainable high performance.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of Operational Excellence experience within life science manufacturing (biopharma or pharmaceutical preferred).
  • Strong GMP experience is essential.
  • Degree qualified, ideally with a Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering cross-functional operational or business excellence projects.
  • Project management certification is a distinct advantage.
