What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of the transport team, you will:

  • Drive Safely and Professionally: Operate artic trucks with a valid CE category license, adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
  • Timely Deliveries: Ensure secure and prompt delivery of goods across various routes within Ireland.
  • Vehicle Inspections: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness.
  • Efficient Communication: Collaborate with the dispatch team and provide excellent customer service to maintain smooth operations.
  • Accurate Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of delivery schedules, hours worked, and vehicle inspections.
  • Handle Goods Responsibly: Safely load, transport, and unload goods to maintain their integrity and quality.
What We're Looking For

To excel in this role, you'll need:

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • A valid CE category license.
  • A current CPC Card and Tachograph card.

Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years of driving experience in Ireland or the UK.
  • Strong driving skills with a proven safety record.
  • Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills for smooth interaction with the dispatch team and customers.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Flexibility to handle diverse routes and schedules as required.
