Capex Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading supplier of wastewater treatment services based in Dublin on the appointment of a Procurement Lead.

This is a brand-new role and a great opportunity to set up a Procurement Department from scratch.

What's in it for you:

  • Starting salary of up to €80,000
  • Annual bonus of 12%
  • Pension contribution of either 5% or 7.5% of your base salary, this will be matched by the company

  • Opportunity to set up a new department and make it your own

In your new role:

  • Set up the new procurement division
  • Sourcing new suppliers, negotiating best prices and lead times
  • Meet with existing suppliers to develop long-term working relationships whilst continually monitoring performance and negotiating the best packages
  • Setting up policy agreements
  • Contract management
  • Budget and inventory management
  • Work closely with all senior management teams to ensure all materials are on site and on time

What you will need to succeed:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience working in a procurement role at a senior level
  • Ability to work well both in a team and independently
  • A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
