Job Description:

Currently recruiting a Machine Setter for an Offaly-based manufacturing facility.

Reporting to the Plant Production Manager, the role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining the production line to ensure smooth performance and high-quality output.

A strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude is desirable, along with previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain the injection moulding production line to ensure efficient production.
• Perform mould and machine cleaning, as well as maintenance of robots and ancillary equipment.
• Ensure production of finished goods in compliance with SOPs and customer specifications.
• Conduct quality checks and record quality data as required.
• Handle raw materials and finished goods efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Perform additional production-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing (packaging, food production, engineered components, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of machine operation and production processes.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Interest or experience in GMP, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is an advantage.

Shift Pattern: Alternating shifts.
