Social Media Executive

Cpl Marketing are recruiting for an experienced Social Media executive for an Irish Beauty and cosmetics brand on a permanent contract in Meath. The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and have a deep understanding of beauty trends and social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok. They will be responsible for producing engaging, high-quality content and will play an integral role in growing and interacting with their online community.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee day-to-day social media production, including static images, short-form content, and long-form videos. Manage the entire content creation process from script/storyboard development to filming, photography, and editing, ensuring content aligns with brand tone of voice and brand pillars.
  2. Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to plan and execute content that supports key marketing initiatives and aligns with the company's strategic goals.
  3. Stay informed of industry trends, emerging influencers, and new platforms to continually refine and evolve the social media strategy.
  4. Assist in the analysis and reporting of social media campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve future initiatives.
  5. Maintain an up-to-date social content calendar in line with the broader business and marketing calendar.
  6. Actively engage with the online community, responding to comments, questions, and feedback promptly while fostering positive relationships with followers and influencers.
  7. Participate in TikTok and Instagram live events to drive engagement and awareness.
  8. Work closely with the Social Media Manager to develop content briefs for influencer partnerships, talent agencies, and user-generated content (UGC) creators.

About you:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, New Media, or a relevant field.
  2. Strong content creation and editing skills with proficiency in tools such as InShot, CapCut, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
  3. Confident and comfortable presenting on camera.
  4. Creative mindset with a passion for beauty and cosmetics.
  5. Excellent communication, copywriting, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and stay on top of emerging social media trends.
  7. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  8. Experience with various social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  9. Flexibility in working hours, including availability during evenings or weekends, as needed for community engagement and live events.
