Our Operation & Maintenance department is looking for an O&M Technician, at Timahoe, who will have the following responsibilities:

  • Drawings and wiring diagrams interpretation;
  • Attend and support emergencies on the PV plants of his area, or any other geographies where Voltalia is managing PV plants;
  • Participate in integrated commissioning and start-up activities in any other geographies where Voltalia is managing PV plants;
  • Compliance with KPI’s contractually defined with customers and correspondent interfacing;
  • Analysis and solution of technical issues that occur in a photovoltaic installation;
  • Compliance with all company procedures and guidelines;
  • Conducting maintenance services of electrical components;
  • Failures diagnostic and troubleshooting;
  • Maintenance reporting;
  • Follow-up reports of the operation and maintenance activities;
  • Compliance with the preventive maintenance plan for all equipment;
  • Operation and resolution of all existing faults;

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School - Electricity Professional Studies (preferred);
  • 3 years of experience in similar functions;
  • Knowledge of maintenance management processes and systems;
  • Knowledge of Medium Voltage and Power Electronics;
  • Knowledge of Technical Design;
  • Knowledge of photovoltaic solar energy (Wind, Hydroelectric energy or other, is also important);
  • Availability to travel abroad for limited periods and on short notice.
