The Business Intelligence and Insights Analyst will play a crucial role within the Data and Analytics function. This position focuses on leveraging data analytics to provide actionable insights across multiple teams. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, utilizing advanced analytics tools to transform data into meaningful insights that enhance operational efficiency and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Extract, clean, and analyze financial data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key metrics and insights to stakeholders.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making processes and provide actionable recommendations.
Business Intelligence Development:
- Design and implement business intelligence solutions to improve data accessibility and usability for the finance team.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate and streamline data sources.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting platforms.
Financial Insights and Strategic Support:
- Provide deep dive analysis on financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes with robust data analysis and scenario modeling.
- Assist in developing financial models to evaluate business scenarios and guide strategic planning.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with finance, operations, and other departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Communicate findings and insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders through presentations and reports.
- Act as a subject matter expert on business intelligence tools and best practices within the finance function.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a business intelligence, data analysis, or finance analytics role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
