Excel Recruitment is proud to partner with our client, a highly successful and well-established retail company, in their search for an experienced and dynamic Supermarket Store Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a busy store in South Dublin and drive its continued success.
As the Supermarket Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, maximizing sales, and maintaining high operational standards.
Responsibilities of this Store Manager:
- Lead and motivate a team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Manage stock control and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities and minimize waste.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to build a high-performing team.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales, wages, and profitability, to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure the store complies with all health and safety regulations and maintains a clean, organized environment.
- Build relationships with customers and resolve any queries or complaints effectively.
- Implement promotional activities to drive sales and customer engagement.
Requirements of this Store Manager:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail management, preferably in a supermarket or FMCG environment.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a large team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to analyze financial reports to drive performance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with staff and customers.
- Hands-on management style with a proactive approach to achieving goals.
- Experience with merchandising and stock management.
