Job Description:

Dromoland Castle, one of Ireland's most prestigious 5* Hotels, is currently recruiting for the position of Greenkeeper. Dromoland Castle Golf course is set on the magnificent 450-acre estate with an impressive 18-hole 6,824 yards par 72 championship course. This is a Full Time seasonal role with the successful candidate commencing employment from 1st April 2025 to 31st October 2025. The working schedule is from Monday to Sunday with a variety of shifts available; however, due to the nature of our business, flexibility is required.

Overview of the Role:

Seasonal, Full Time Position (April to October 2025 - Inclusive).

  • Maintenance of the Golf Course surrounds and Course Landscaping.
  • Maintaining open spaces and unused acreage.
  • Maintaining good relations with Golf club members, Residents, and Guests who use the course.
Requirements for the Role:
  • 2 - 3 Years experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant Greenkeeping qualifications to a FETAC level 6 (Desirable but not essential).
  • Must be well-organised and a team player.
  • Hold a current Full Driving Licence.
  • Be focused on standards with a positive attitude and have excellent attention to detail.
