Allegro Acoustics is an acoustic design consultancy based in Dublin, Republic of Ireland. We work with leading Architects and Engineers on signature building projects throughout Ireland, United Kingdom, USA, South America, and Middle East. Allegro Acoustics is primarily focused on a mix of bespoke design projects and medium size capital projects (€5m - €50m).

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • In excess of three years experience working in the consultancy environment, particularly in the field of M&E, building design, or construction.
  • Experience working as Engineering Consultant for medium to large scale design projects.
About the Role

This role will typically include the following:

  • Overseeing and reviewing work by junior personnel.
  • Design projects will typically include projects in the commercial office, power generation, pharma, biotechnology, and industry sectors with particular focus on M&E.
  • Excellent report writing skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • This role will require the successful candidate to hold a full driver's license and have his or her own mode of vehicular transport. Use of one's own private vehicle will be remunerated according to the maximum allowable rates as outlined by Revenue Commissioners for Personnel Expenses.
  • Allegro Acoustics promotes continued professional development including in-house and external training to enable personnel to reach their full potential at all levels.
  • Normal working hours – 9 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Thursday, finish at 3:30 pm on Friday.

This is a client-facing role, and hence a professional approach and good communication skills are essential. Candidates who present themselves well when interacting with clients and colleagues will be considered to be particularly well suited to this role.
