We are looking to speak to highly skilled and experienced Transport/Warehouse/Operations Managers with a strong background in transportation or logistics. The ideal candidate will have proven experience overseeing departments in customer support, tech support, service delivery, and warehousing, driving continuous improvements.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise the organization's operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including planning, organising, and controlling activities within the organisation.
  • Oversee customer support, tech support, service delivery, and warehousing departments including the container depot.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with staff and key stakeholders, vendors, customers, and other business partners.
  • Ensure that critical positions in the transport division are overseen by trained, dedicated, and experienced personnel.
  • Ensure that our customers receive the highest levels of service & customer focus.
  • Analyse operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, including identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Evaluate business risks on a regular basis and take appropriate measures to minimize them.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in transportation or logistics operations management.
  • Proven experience managing customer support, tech support, service delivery, and warehousing departments.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Experience with budget management and financial analysis.
