Financial Accountant, Credit Union, Dublin / Hybrid
Our client is seeking to appoint a Qualified Accountant to join their close-knit finance team in a hands-on role leading a small finance team. It is a really interesting position with a focus on work-life balance.
The Position:
Reporting directly to the CFO, the position is varied and high profile. It offers a lot of autonomy and is ideally suited to someone who can work on their own initiative. Duties will include:
- Leading finance team
- Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Variance analysis
- Assisting with Internal and External Audits
- Monthly reconciliations
- Cross-functional relationship management
- Aiding development of junior members in finance team
- Participating in process review and improvement
- Finance-related projects
The Person:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA etc.) with relevant experience of accounts preparation
- Ideally 2+ years of PQE
- Experience in Financial Services or Credit Union is desirable
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills
