Job Description:

Our client is dedicated to improving the quality of life for adults through comprehensive and compassionate care. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Services team. Their mission is to empower individuals to achieve their highest level of independence and functionality.

Position Summary:

As an Occupational Therapist in their Adult Services department, you will assess, plan, and implement individualized therapeutic programs for adults with various physical, mental, and developmental challenges. Your role is crucial in helping clients improve their ability to perform daily activities and achieve their personal goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assess and develop personalized treatment plans.
  2. Implement therapeutic techniques to improve daily living skills.
  3. Educate clients and families on adaptive techniques.
  4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  5. Document progress and adjust treatment plans.
  6. Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

  1. MSc/BSc degree in Occupational Therapy.
  2. CORU registration.
  3. Experience with adult therapy preferred.
  4. Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
