Neylons Facility Management is looking for Evening Full-time Cleaning staff to join our team in a manufacturing environment in Clonmel, Co Tipperary.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 17:30 to 00:30

Purpose of the Role:

To undertake daily cleaning of the building in line with Health & Safety Standards. The cleaner will work within a team to ensure that the healthcare facility is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake general cleaning of all clinical and non-clinical areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells, and toilets.
  • Dust and wash floors and walls.
  • Sweep, polish floors, and dispose of waste.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Ensure toilet facilities are kept clean and supplies are replenished when required.
  • Organize necessary supplies for cleaning toilet facilities.
  • Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers, and elevators.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other building areas.
  • General housekeeping and cleaning around the building and litter control.
  • Inform the Supervisor/Manager of stock required for replenishing purposes.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Good working knowledge of English.
  • Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices.
  • Knowledge of how to use the equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks.
