About the role

·Work within our Biosensor business on hardware development for current and new medical device products and to support ongoing product design validation and production process validation activities.

·Successful candidate will work with a dynamic environment and have opportunities to work on a variety of development, commercial and research projects as part of a motivated, cross-functional team.

·Reporting to Director of operations the Electronic Engineer will gain exposure to a range of technologies at the forefront of biomedical research and every phase of the product development lifecycle from initial concept work through to commercial release.

Requirements and skills

·Proficiency in at least one of the following languages for embedded systems (C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Swing, and Python) is required.

·Electronics Experience Required.

·Resource planning.

·Minimum of 5 years' experience;

·Design of linear and switching power supplies.

·Brings a continuous improvement mindset to their job.

·Generates required documentation in accordance to the requirements of the Trek development process;

·Experience with ARM, MSP, PIC or similar microcontrollers.

·Experience with PCB design including mechanical constraints and design for manufacturing/test.
