In this role, you will:
  • Build machine learning models autonomously to provide insight into business process and strategy for Senior Leaders.
  • Engage stakeholders, and challenge requirements, to respond to critical business issues, and support the organisation's transformation strategy and values
  • Contribute to a creative data driven culture centred on an agile environment, problem solving and design thinking.
  • Use Advanced analytics to provide insight into the customer base, developing independent important metrics such as customer activity, product penetration, share of wallet and transactional behaviour preferences.
  • Conducts data science related engineering to build new data marts and product ionised data features.
What will make you stand out?

Proven experience in data analytics including experience with data engineering or machine learning techniques/models. Experience in extracting value from structured and unstructured datasets using science tools and techniques.

You will be familiar with programming languages (python and SQL preferred) and different statistics and machine learning libraries with demonstrable experience in developing complex solutions.

Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not vital in order to apply for this role;

  • Previous experience in financial services,data analytics and senior stakeholder management
  • Cloud platforms and knowledge of developing AI/ML pipelines and harnessing techniques such as clustering, classification.
  • Understanding of process flow, data management, GDPR and data lineage concepts
Essential Qualifications

Third Level qualification, in mathematics, science, statistics, finance, IT, or another relevant subject area.

Reporting to the Chief Data & Analytics Officer (CDAO), the Strategic Analytics team is responsible for the development and execution of the Bank's data analytics strategy.

Strategic Analytics build data-driven solutions to support the business. We collaborate with other specialists, spread capability awareness and develop new talent. The team is built on three pillars: strategic value prioritisation, design thinking and agile delivery.
