Provide support to coach table tennis junior team and participate in various table tennis tournaments

Train beginners to improve physical, social and intellectual behaviour and learn all table tennis skills

Plan and administer all sorts of training sessions for team members through proper planning

Recruit table tennis players from students and collaborate with the head coach to increase enrolment for various table tennis matches

Provide professional training to beginners team members and participate in various competitive games

Help manage table tennis team and maintain entire equipment and facilities used by our beginners

Set up the hall before training when necessary

Requirements

ITTA Level 1 Coaching Certificate or equivalent experience

Be able to take direction and be self-motivated and positive

Hall/Events Coordinator

Job responsibilities

Open & close the hall for practice sessions

Introduce new players to the club and organise for them access to the table

Organise players to set up the equipment at the start and clear the hall at the end

Set up the hall before and after the session when necessary

Manage table bookings for coaching or league matches

Manage the use of a table tennis robot

Maintain and evaluate all equipment inventories and provide regular updates

Help manage table tennis teams and maintain entire equipment and facilities

Other as appropriate

Requirements

Open and friendly attitude

Be able to take direction and be self-motivated and positive

Retail or receptionist experience a plus

MindBody software experience a plus

Both positions will require the following to be completed before joining our team

Garda Vetting through Irish Table Tennis Association

Sports First Aid & Code of Ethics courses
