The Role:

  • Responsible for developing quality, health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Identify potential hazards in the workplace, assess risks and develop strategies to mitigate them to ensure of a safe and healthy working environment
  • Organise training programmes for employees on safety protocols, quality standards and best practices and ensure compliance
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality, health and safety regulations. Keep updated on legislations changes and industry standards and update company policies.
  • Lead investigations to determine causes and implement corrective and preventative actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, health and safety performance.
  • Communicate quality, health and safety performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Preparing reports for management, regulatory agencies etc.,
  • Develop emergency response plans so the company is prepared for emergencies.
  • Promote a culture where quality, health and safety is priority and enhancing the reputation of the company.

The Candidate:

  • 3rd level degree with QHSE with strong legislation knowledge
  • Strong experience in workplace safety, legal and safety guidelines
  • Deep understanding of legal quality, health & safety guidelines
  • Good data analysis and risk assessment knowledge
  • Strategic thinker and strong analysis/planning experience
  • Customer / client focused
  • Proven ability to interpret and make accessible complex ideas and data
  • Proven ability to network and collaborate with managers, teams and build effective partnerships to ensure compliance
  • Able to interpret new legislation/policy/regulation and liaise with various bodies
