Engineering Technician - 23 Months

Join our global team as an Engineering Technician for Laboratory Diagnostics at our Swords facility in Dublin.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Maintaining Engineering Instruments in the Engineering Lab
  • Investigating root causes of failures to component level, completing failure analysis on returned parts, and documenting failure modes
  • Supporting Engineering in validating, installing, and verifying new procedures, software, equipment, and products
  • Training new personnel and existing Technicians on unfamiliar modules to ensure high proficiency and efficiency

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Diploma qualification in an Engineering or Science Discipline with relevant experience in automation/systems manufacturing or support
  • Strong problem-solving skills and practical experience in technical troubleshooting to the component level of complex assemblies
  • Good working knowledge of Atellica IM and CI Module
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
