Purpose of the Role:

Ensuring that all delivered and dispatched produce complies with customer specifications and procedures, promoting quality awareness for the product range, fostering a positive work environment, and advocating for manufacturing and health and safety best practices.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Conducting quality inspections during intake, storage, packing, and dispatch.
  • Completing inspection records, conducting tests, and ensuring product compliance.
  • Performing routine inspections per documented procedures.
  • Collaborating with the team to pack products according to procedures and customer specifications.
  • Meeting established KPIs related to quality, productivity, and safety.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Number of pallets/lines checked per day.
  • Reducing customer rejections.
  • Providing accurate handover information.
  • Maintaining high hygiene standards.
  • Ensuring safe daily task performance.
  • Avoiding EPW.
  • Timely completion of functional checks.

Key Skills & Knowledge

Essential:

  • IT and numeracy skills.
  • Physical fitness.
  • Flexibility with working hours.
  • Understanding of inspection methods and equipment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English.

Desirable:

  • Previous relevant experience.
  • Experience in a fresh product environment.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
