We are currently seeking a skilled GI Physiologist to join our team in North Dublin within a Private Hospital Setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of gastrointestinal physiology tests, including but not limited to motility studies, pH studies, and impedance testing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of gastrointestinal physiology tests, including motility studies, pH studies, and impedance testing.
  • Collect and analyze test data, and prepare reports for physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment, and ensure that all testing is performed in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that all patient information is kept confidential.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities, and assist with the development and implementation of new protocols and procedures.
  • Provide patient education and counseling as needed, and communicate test results to patients in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in physiology or a related field.
  • Experience performing gastrointestinal physiology tests, including motility studies, pH studies, and impedance testing.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
