Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for delivering efficient, high-quality nursing care.
  • To abide by the rules and guidelines of Mount Tabor Nursing Home as well as the professional code established by the NMBI.
  • Understand the function of the laws and regulatory agencies that oversee nursing homes.
  • Keep proper and accurate records about the care of your residents.
  • Make certain that every resident receives the same level of care based on their needs.
  • Adopt a cooperative approach to resident care by coordinating the care and interventions that other multidisciplinary team members deliver.
  • Take responsibility for making sure care plans are person-centered and accurately reflect the state of the residents.
  • Encourage and guarantee the protection of pharmaceuticals.

Requirements

  • The Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)-approved nursing qualification is a requirement for candidates.
  • Certificate of HSE Medication Management
  • A track record of success in healthcare environments.
  • A track record of success working in a team.
  • Able to prove that they understand elder care.
