We are currently seeking an MDM Business Analyst at Uniphar Group, offering a long-term role for someone eager to advance their career in a vibrant and fast-paced setting.

The MDM Business Analyst plays a crucial role in transforming design concepts into reality using the xDM platform. This role involves developing technical solutions within xDM to deliver business value by addressing and resolving various business challenges. The ability to analyze root causes of problems, create solutions, and ensure successful implementation is key in this position.

Aside from developing new solutions, the xDM developer will also maintain existing projects, evaluate new features, perform enhancements, and address any bugs or issues. Balancing these ongoing tasks with project work requires excellent time management skills.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering business value through xDM solutions
  • Develop projects/models in xDM as part of new solutions
  • Collaborate with Semarchy Administrator to maintain platform effectiveness
  • Work closely with Semarchy Product Owner to prioritize backlog
  • Ensure timely resolution of bugs and problems with existing xDM solutions
  • Liaise with Semarchy for bug escalation and enhancement requests
  • Provide technology solutions guidance to data stewards
  • Support data management and change processes
  • Offer testing support to data stewards
  • Participate in working councils and governance calls for issue discussions and resolutions

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and macros
  • Ability to build 3rd normal form data models
  • Knowledge of SAP & MDM is advantageous
  • Experience with SQL programming
  • Collaborative experience in project or software development teams
  • Demonstrated performance in software development best practices
  • Data-driven environment experience with data solution building
  • Integration project experience with data flow between systems
  • Medium-scale project experience and managing dependencies
  • Working on solutions in complex IT environments and platform integration
  • Understanding data architecture for scalable data models
  • Experience in fostering positive vendor relationships
  • Specific domain knowledge preferred
  • Able to lead workshops if needed
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of Master Data is a plus
