EFX Trader

Description

• Manage the electronic risk book
• Perform data analytics around profitability and performance of eFX business
• Collaborate with business and quant team to help develop new analytics tools
• Work with trading and quant group to brainstorm ideas on increasing profitability and volumes of electronic business
• Coordinate with technical support to resolve any potential issues with the eFX trading platform
• Collaborate with internal teams to onboard new clients and implement new business initiatives
• Act as a liaison between the electronic FX desk and the broader FX business
• Dynamic role with responsibilities commensurate with experience

Job Requirements

• Dedicated work ethic
• Strong team player
• 3+ years of eFX trading experience with a solid understanding of FX market microstructure
• Technical mindset with knowledge of Python programming; kdb/q experience considered an asset
• Demonstrated skills in business analysis, problem-solving, and initiative
• Self-starter, motivated to enhance and develop the business
• Available for communication after work hours via email
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Effective under pressure and capable of multitasking
• Some travel involved in the role (maximum 5% annually)

Additional Information

Education: Technical degree preferred (engineering, computer science, stats, or related field)
