Join our team as a full-time Internal Communications Consultant, specializing in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.

You'll spend around half your time as a client-facing communications specialist, supporting our pharmaceutical client's employee engagement and communication efforts at their manufacturing division sites in Ireland. The other half of your time will be focused on collaborating on agency-wide projects, where you'll assist various clients to foster creativity and make a long-lasting impact. We are looking for a hands-on communicator who is keen to advance their career and evolve into a more strategic role in the future.

This is a fully remote position. We are seeking candidates in and around Belfast, Ireland as occasional travel to our client sites is necessary.

You will report to the Communications and Engagement Consultant.

What will you do ...
  • Lead or contribute to projects through engagement and communication strategies and planning in a strategic and measurable manner, considering our client priorities
    • Provide communication expertise and advice to clients and team members
    • Create communication campaigns
    • Identify and resolve potential issues and always evaluate clients' requirements
    • Develop employee listening and insight programs
    • Assist in implementing strategies that guide the organization through change, growth, crises, and employee matters
  • Develop high-quality content across various channels
    • Empower managers and other key partners with messages and tools to help them educate and influence their staff
    • Showcase stories of innovation, safety, and diversity that can be shared internally and externally
    • Aid in positioning our client company as an employer of choice for current and prospective employees
  • Build relationships with key leaders
    • Collaborate with multiple partners and departments, including clients and their internal/external partners, vendor partners, and agency personnel
What do you need to have ...
  • At least 8 years of experience in internal and external communications
  • Experience articulating ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    • Manage projects that drive organizational change and promote employee engagement
    • Analyze business issues to deliver solutions aligned with strategies, taking projects from concept to implementation
    • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a readiness to address pressing requests
    • Transform complex information into engaging communications
    • Create communications from inception to distribution, including formatting and disseminating materials
    • Cultivate relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
    • Maintain direction and focus through proactive, integrated planning using an organized, data-driven approach
  • Proven track record as a thoughtful risk-taker
  • Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools is necessary; experience with design, video, digital tools, or the Adobe suite of tools is beneficial.
  • Capability to travel to client sites and attend face-to-face meetings—locally, nationally, or internationally.
  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory; advanced education preferred
  • Experience within a regulated industry
  • Thorough business acumen and comprehension of manufacturing within a global enterprise
  • Experience communicating with a diverse workforce with varying roles and needs (e.g., wired and non-wired employees)
  • Agency or healthcare background
