The position involves designing EPMS/BAS controls network for existing/new datacenters, serving as a Senior Industrial Controls Systems Design Engineer for MS datacenter construction execution.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be an instrumentation and controls engineer with leadership experience in electrical power monitoring systems for Data Centers. They need to be a team player, able to work globally on EPMS implementations, possess knowledge of network topologies, and have a strong understanding of electrical power distribution for mission critical applications. Strong communication skills, project management, multitasking abilities, and familiarity with advanced engineering processes are essential for success in this role.

  • Extensive experience in EPMS design, SCADA, and Datacenters
  • Expertise in TCP/IP and serial communication network design
  • Strong team player and independent worker
  • Leading as the EPMS/Control system design expert
  • Global travel readiness

Preferred, not required:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Expertise in troubleshooting control system devices
  • Proficiency in EPMS device setup and SCADA implementations
  • Experience with communication protocols like Modbus, BACnet, IEC61850, OPC UA, SNMP

The ability to meet security screening requirements is mandatory for this role, including Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

Responsibilities

The Senior Controls Systems Design Engineer will develop hardware configurations, communication setups, and testing for EPMS/BAS in MS datacenters. They will work on new hardware additions, software configurations, and network drawings to ensure project specifications are met and standards are followed. This role includes coordinating with various teams, vendors, and contractors.
