Join us as our new Cloud Backend Engineer and help us achieve our goals

As a Cloud Backend Engineer on Yokoy's Integrations team, you will be tasked with integrating Yokoy with various third-party systems and major customers. At Yokoy, we pride ourselves on being a product-driven company, where our innovative, top-tier product is key to our customers' success. A scalable, reliable, and comprehensive integrations framework is essential for maintaining customer satisfaction, growing our customer base, and penetrating new markets. Writing clean and testable code is crucial for our continuous growth.

This is a temporary 12-month role with the potential for renewal.

What you'll do:
  • You will collaborate on new features within the integrations team, refining, planning, developing, and reviewing new integrations to connect Yokoy with third-party systems such as ERP and HR systems.
  • You write clean, testable code.
  • You partner with our quality team to build unit and integration tests.
  • You work closely with DevOps engineers to ensure smooth deployment, monitoring, and scaling of backend systems.
  • You collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
  • You support the advancement of the technology to prepare for global scalability.
What you'll need:
  • You are an accomplished Senior Backend Engineer with a proven track record in professional programming within a team environment.
  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences in an engineering discipline such as Computer Science, Math, or Physics.
  • You have profound knowledge of the node environment, as well as JavaScript and TypeScript as programming languages.
  • You possess extensive experience working with cloud service providers like GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • You have a strong background in integrating various systems.
  • Experience with relevant third-party systems, such as ERP and HR systems, is a plus.
  • Ideally, you have experience in a similar business context, particularly in finance and accounting.
  • You are fluent in English.
