It is increasingly important to be able to integrate new products and systems quicker and cheaper – whilst maintaining our security posture and regulatory compliance.

  • Based on the above, perform detailed analysis and produce high quality written recommendations for a broad spectrum of audiences, including C Suite and the Flutter Board.
  • Create 100-day plans and longer-term plans with prioritised cyber roadmaps to improve cyber risk within new and existing aspects of the division.
  • Be authoritative and provide thought leadership at all levels of the division on cyber risk and how new approaches and technologies can better manage this key area.
  • Work with the wider divisional architecture function to ensure consistency and alignmentof the technology and cyber roadmaps across the whole organisation.
  • Provide thought leadership and support to any divisional cyber security incidents.
  • Act as an authoritative source on cyber risk between other Flutter divisions, Flutter Group, and external bodies.

What you'll bring:

  • A domain expert across multiple aspects of cyber security risk.
  • A keen technical focus but with a strategic mindset.
  • Experience of working in or leading across Security Architecture.
  • Experience of leading due diligence across cyber risk for potential acquisition targets.
  • Experience of working in and moving businesses to the public cloud (AWS) ensuring cyber security risk is managed.
  • Experience of secure product development practices to ensure what is built for our customers and ourselves is secure by design.
  • Knowledge of cyber security frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO27001.
  • Problem solving ability and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, from user up to C-level executives.
  • An ability to drive improvement in cyber security through alignment of capability without centralisation.
  • A strong customer focus and will be delivery driven and can keep a strategic focus whilst dealing tactically with day-to-day issues.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn new things, take ownership and solve complex issues.
  • A producer of high-quality written output for all audiences.
