Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Laboratory Trainer at our North Dublin Campus.

Primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and delivering comprehensive training programs to fulfill all job requirements of laboratory staff.
  • Leading all Training activities within the QC function.
  • Ensuring compliance with Laboratory Documentation and Data Integrity requirements.
  • Understanding Regulations and business processes essential for maintaining Laboratory Data Integrity.
  • Creating an onboarding program for new laboratory staff to ensure they are fully integrated into the team within 4 weeks of starting.
  • Conducting Site quality training programs, covering GMP, Good documentation practices, and Quality Induction.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on all Laboratory Equipment and procedures.
  • Developing an annual training plan based on identified Laboratory training needs and ensuring its timely implementation.
  • Implementing competency-based assessment tools for all Instructor-led training programs in the laboratory.
  • Reviewing and updating analytical procedures to support Analyst training requirements.
  • Collaborating with management to enhance individual and team training through IT systems and web-based applications.
  • Utilizing e-learning and blended learning approaches to improve training effectiveness.
  • Maintaining an efficient electronic training management system.
  • Providing monthly training matrices, KPIs, and ComplianceWire reports as needed.
  • Continuously measuring and enhancing the effectiveness of training to strive for industry excellence.
  • Staying updated on industry best practices regarding Laboratory training and implementing them on site.
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols in the laboratory.
  • Identifying potential safety hazards and collaborating with management and EHS Officer to address them.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant Quality Control experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • A degree in Chemistry or a related Science field, preferably a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cGMP requirements and practices, including familiarity with USP and FDA Guidance Documents related to pharmaceutical Quality Control Laboratory.
