Clinical Perfusionist

(CHI) is leading on the clinical and operational transformation of acute paediatric healthcare and consists of hospitals at Crumlin, Temple Street and Tallaght as well as an Urgent Care Centre at Connolly hospital in Blanchardstown.

Purpose of the Role:

The post holder....The Perfusionist sets up and operates equipment under the direction of the Cardiac Surgeon(s) for the provision of total or partial circulatory/respiratory support during surgery and carries out various extracorporeal techniques/procedures during surgery or in other situations where deemed necessary.

Candidates must, on the latest date for receiving completed applications for the post, possess:

• Must be accredited by The Society of Clinical Perfusion Scientists of Great Britain and Ireland and registered with the College of Clinical Perfusion Scientists of Great Britain and Ireland.
• Have the clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role
