Role Overview: As a CORU Registered Radiographer at HSE Hospitals, you will play a crucial role in the Radiology Department. Your expertise in diagnostic imaging will be essential for patient diagnosis and treatment. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team to ensure top-notch care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasound examinations with accuracy and empathy.
  • Prioritize patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, upholding a caring and patient-focused approach.
  • Work alongside radiologists and healthcare professionals to analyze imaging outcomes and contribute to precise diagnoses and treatment strategies.
  • Maintain precise patient records and adhere to rigorous protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Engage in quality assurance initiatives and stay updated on advancements in radiography technology.
  • Offer guidance and assistance to junior staff and radiography students, promoting a culture of continual growth and learning.

Qualifications:

  • CORU registration as a Radiographer.
  • Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Radiography or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a hospital or clinical environment.
  • Proficient technical skills in various imaging techniques.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Effective teamwork in a fast-paced setting and collaboration with a diverse team.
