We're on the lookout for caring and compassionate LVN to teach CNA curriculum to Home Care Aides. This is a weekend only job, and the hired instructor will teach our weekend cohort on Saturdays and Sundays, from 7 AM to 3 PM.Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years nursing experience, with at least 1 year of providing care in an acute care hospital, skilled nursing facility, intermediate care facility, home care, hospice care, or other long-term setting.This position is for weekends only. CNA training program has 2 parts - theory in our classroom at school site and clinical training in a skilled nursing facility.Compensation is competitive and based on experience.What we're looking for:
  • Current license as a LVN.
  • Passion for teaching
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
  • Knowledge of safety and infection control practices.
  • Experience in teaching is highly desirable.
You will be part of a team that loves to train future CNAs to become caring, compassionate and skilled caregivers.
