Summary of Role:

  • Bring a strong understanding of the FS Advisory role from previous similar experiences
  • Lead advisory engagements by developing business models, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and creating business process models
  • Collaborate with business users to document business process models using industry-standard frameworks and tools
  • Translate business requirements into actionable changes for rapid technology delivery. Ensure a rigorous process by questioning and validating business needs to enhance deliverable quality

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Engage with business users, comprehend problem statements, and define engagement scope
  • Interview product owners to grasp current business processes and create customer-centric future processes
  • Support the Business by documenting process models and identifying enhancement opportunities
  • Capable of mapping customer experience using tools like personas and customer journeys
  • Collect and analyze statistical data from business areas to support business case development for change
  • Research and analyze industry best practices to facilitate the digitization and streamlining of customer journeys
  • Aid the Business in formulating digital strategies to boost customer retention and loyalty
  • Provide industry expertise and thought leadership to advise on upcoming trends, future operational models, and exemplary journeys
  • Attain a profound understanding of the business context and market where our stakeholders operate
  • Utilize process modeling techniques to capture requirements. Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and Development teams to implement process enhancements
  • Work with various product owners to draft clear, non-implementation specific epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Promote and contribute to the metrics-oriented culture within our function

Experience and skills required

  • Extensive background in retail financial services advisory (preferably with over 10 years of experience in change management and regulatory projects) and a demonstrated ability to swiftly grasp business strategies and objectives (Over 4 years of Big 4 Advisory experience)
  • Proficiency in design thinking, managing diverse stakeholder expectations, clear communication, facilitating requirements workshops, and driving decision-making processes
  • Prior experience in an FS advisory role within a similar organization is highly advantageous
  • Hands-on experience in documenting business cases, business process modeling, and eliciting requirements through workshops
  • Proficient in managing projects from inception to delivery, with a solid foundation in IT
  • Experience in working with Agile and waterfall SDLC methodologies
  • Strong skills in communication, group dynamics, collaboration, and continuous improvement, adhering to best practices
  • Completion of a related discipline with a 2.1 or higher from an academic institution; a Master's degree is a bonus
