About this role: The purpose of theAsset Manager Workout Commercial Real Estate is to support the portfoliomanager and assist in the management of a portfolio of debtors to agree andimplement debt management strategies to maximize recoveries for commercial realestate under Pepper's management. TheAsset Manager Workout will also be responsible for conducting due diligence,relationship management and in conjunction with colleagues on the Real Estateteam ensuring minimal delays in getting assets onto the market througheffective and efficient relationship management and implementation of processcontrols to minimise risk.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Relationship Management/Debt Restructuring - maximise financial return through development and implementation of effective debt management strategies
  • Financial Management – Maximise the financial return for our capital partners through effective debtor management
  • Portfolio Due Diligence and Analysis
  • Asset Management
  • Analysis and Reporting - Produce accurate and reliable Management Information for Senior Management/EXCO on the portfolio
  • Support the ongoing maintenance and promotion of a compliance and risk culture through:
  • Ensuring that a culture of consumer protection and fair treatment of customers is always promoted across the team with a view to achieving fair customer outcomes
  • Conduct role and performance of responsibilities in a manner consistent with the Central Bank of Ireland's objective to achieve a consumer centric culture and in accordance with the applicable law and regulatory requirements which affect Pepper as a regulated entity
  • Work collaboratively with Compliance & Operational Risk to ensure continued compliance and that operational risks are managed satisfactorily; including addressing any issues identified through monitoring and testing, rectifying errors, and completion of AML

Skills& Experience

  • Proven experience within a portfolio management or debt restructuring role
  • APA in Housing Loans or QFA (essential)
  • Experience of working on cases involving loan restructuring / insolvency / receivership / examinership (preferable)
  • Achievement of portfolio KPI's
  • Quality of Assessment and Strategy Proposals
  • Accuracy, quality, and efficiency of due diligence
  • Feedback from Commercial Real Estate team
  • Turnaround times on getting assets to market
  • Relevance, quality, accuracy, and timeliness of reports
