An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Global Process Manager role at our Shared Service Hub in Cherrywood.

What you will Do:
Collaborate with the Global Process Owner OTC to establish the strategic direction for global process design by working closely with Corporate Finance Services and Shared Services Operations. This role aims to enhance the target operating model and drive process transformation.

The Global Process Manager OTC will lead process design and governance for activities such as Customer Master data, Cash Applications, Deductions Management, and Collections, focusing on global standardization and optimizing ERP deployment throughout the organization.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or General Management
  • Accounting Certification or equivalent
  • 5+ years of Finance and Accounting experience in a complex multinational setting, with expertise in transactional processes through to close, both internal and external financial reporting
  • Shared Service experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in SAP or other major ERP systems
  • Familiarity with Customer Master Governance in SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Proven track record of managing interactions with order management and customer service teams in a global environment
  • Experience in leading process transformation initiatives and enterprise systems implementation
  • Prior involvement in E-invoicing solution implementation is beneficial
  • Background in assessing business risk and implementing financial controls
  • Formal continuous improvement training is desirable, such as LEAN / Six Sigma
  • Skilled in senior stakeholder management and conflict resolution
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across different functions and organizations
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Travel required within EMEA region

Responsibilities

  • Work with business and operational teams to identify, prioritize, and implement process improvements that align with organizational goals and drive business outcomes. Contribute to defining and implementing the Order to Cash Roadmap for maximizing business benefits and enhancing process efficiency for end users and external customers.
  • Align with CFS & SSO leadership to ensure global consistency in priorities and results management in a matrixed environment.
  • Collaborate with BTS-IT on ERP program initiatives and other tech deployments like E-invoicing solutions when necessary.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the entire global process design, engaging in Process Council and community of practices for Global, OTC end to end processes.
  • Advocate for the adoption of global process standards, particularly focusing on Customer Master Data Governance, and secure buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Implement and oversee process change control for OTC processes
  • Offer process insights for CFS migrations, business integrations, and new business models.
  • Drive continuous improvement in OTC processes, fostering service innovation and enhancing the end-to-end process for Abbott.
  • Conduct root cause analysis in a timely manner to address problem drivers and implement necessary changes.
  • Establish KPIs and performance measures for the end-to-end process, driving improvements over time.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation, including robotics, within the OTC area.
  • Cultivate strong relationships across the finance functions, acting as a liaison with Abbott Division, Corporate business partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor cross-functional initiatives to ensure alignment, agility, and minimal disruption to the global process agenda, maintaining close communication with key business partners.
