Network and Security Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot HPE Aruba network and Wi-Fi devices, including Aruba Mobility Master.
  • Conduct Palo Alto firewall troubleshooting and rule updates.
  • Utilize HPE IMC for network management and Aruba ClearPass for security policy management.
  • Enhance and maintain comprehensive documentation for network environments.
  • Provide efficient technical support and promptly troubleshoot issues, utilising troubleshooting skills to identify the root cause during incidents.
  • Implement changes following established change management policies.
  • Strengthen security through the deployment of tools, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with vendors and IT teams to resolve issues promptly.

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Possess Cisco CCNA, HPE ACSA/ACSP or Palo Alto PCCSA/PCNSA certification.
  • Minimum 4- 5 years of hands-on experience supporting diverse network technologies.
  • Experienced with Aruba Mobility Master, HPE IMC, Aruba ClearPass and HPE Switching.
  • Proficient in configuring various network devices such as firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, and VPNs.
  • Proven track record with remote client and site-to-site VPN technologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive experience in Enterprise Networking and Data Centre Environments.
  • Proficient in routing and switching technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, STP, VLAN, LLDP, LACP, BGP, and OSPF.

Beneficial Skills and Experience:

  • Hold an IT Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Familiarity with a range of equipment from vendors such as HPE Aruba, Cisco, and Palo Alto.
  • ITIL familiarization is a plus.
