Purpose of the Role:
  • Assist the Quality Manager.
  • Ensure produce meets quality, food safety, and legal requirements.
  • Manage day-to-day Operations Quality Team.
  • Promote quality knowledge and good work ethos.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
  • Manage the QA team to meet quality standards.
  • Provide support and coaching for the team.
  • Escalate quality issues to the appropriate manager.
  • Conduct team briefings and ensure compliance.
  • Manage team performance and address issues.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Customer rejections (QSL).
  • Maintain high hygiene standards.
  • Completion of audits and functional checks.
  • Reduce manual loads and support QC team.
Key Skills & Knowledge
  • Essential: IT and mathematical skills, flexibility with hours, attention to detail.
  • Desirable: Previous experience in a similar environment, multitasking abilities.
Education & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is desirable but not essential.
  • Minimum of 2 years' quality experience.
