Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Support routine Global Marketing Operations activities, such as deployment and oversight of global tools, systems, policies and procedures which support Viatris marketing activities worldwide, as well as risk identification and mitigation for marketing activities
  • Implement and maintain company standards for documentation and archiving relevant to global Marketing Operations
  • Enable compliant business conduct of global/ regional/local marketing functions by providing global governance of tools and processes for marketing activities
  • Define, collect and report quality and performance KPIs for global/ regional/local marketing functions to ensure adherence to the Viatris Meeting & Events, Customer Engagement Program and Promotional Material policies and procedures
  • Enable quality and compliance monitoring for global/ regional/local marketing functions to ensure adherence to the Viatris Meeting & Events, Customer Engagement Program and Promotional Material policies and procedures
  • Monitor and analyze global marketing process performance and compliance, identify gaps and develop solutions for improvement
  • Support the ongoing development, enhancement, roll-out and governance of tools, policies and procedures for Global Marketing activities
  • Support the development and implementation of process automation and system connectivity to enable Omnichannel marketing activities world wide
  • Drive change management of the global marketing organization at all levels
  • Partner with Heads of Regional/ Local Marketing to train and coach marketing departments to comply with internal standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support the Head of Global Marketing Operations with the set-up and execution of projects to enable the implementation of the Global Marketing Strategy at the local level and in defining, building and roll-out of any amendments to current Global Marketing Operations processes and tools.
  • Maintain strong partnership with interfacing functions Medical Affairs and Compliance to manage marketing processes according to Viatris Policies and Procedures

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • The preferred candidate will have a master's degree in a Scientific background (Medical Degree, Pharmacology, Biology, Chemistry).
  • Extensive experience in Global Marketing Operations within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong process analysis and design capabilities to develop/ improve marketing policies, processes, tools and systems.
  • Leadership capabilities to manage marketing operational activities according to existing Viatris policies and procedures.
  • Very strong know how and capabilities in quality and compliance to monitor, analyze and govern marketing processes end-to-end.
  • Demonstratable project and customer management skills. Very strong process-oriented leadership in building and managing the various processes.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across boundaries.
  • Strong time management, organizational & planning skills.
