The Azure Data & AI Technical Specialist Manager is a key leader within our SMB Digital, Startups, and ISV organization.

In this position, you will lead, develop, and manage a team of high performing Azure Data & AI Technology Specialists to deliver technical solutions with customers using Microsoft Data & AI solutions. Your team's decisions at the customer level will drive Business value with the Microsoft Platform, ensuring long-term sustainable growth for Microsoft. This role allows for up to 50% remote work.

Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications from Microsoft or other platforms and demonstrated technical pre-sales or consulting experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and technical pre-sales or consulting experience
  • Equivalent experience
  • Ability to map customer needs to technical solutions
  • Strong cloud deployment and workload knowledge
  • Stay updated on Azure AI scenarios and workloads
  • Address Customer Escalation and needs
  • Expertise in Generative AI and Azure Data and AI services
  • Experience in People management (preferably technical teams)

Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Certification in relevant (Microsoft or industry) technologies or disciplines (e.g. Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture)
  • Certification in Cloud, Networking, Security, cloud-native application architecture, DevOps, CI/CD tool chains, and container orchestration systems
