Middle QA Engineer

Playrix is considered one of the leading companies in mobile game development globally.

Our games have reached an astonishing 2.3 billion installations and are enjoyed by over 30 million players every day worldwide. Currently, we are expanding our testing teams and are on the lookout for top-tier professionals to join us.

We're seeking QA specialists for various areas within our product:

  • Features: developing events and new mechanics from the ground up
  • Technical: focusing on optimization, enhancing performance, and ensuring technical stability
  • Content: working on core game mechanics like match-3, meta, merge, etc., including adding new features, refactoring, optimization, and releasing fresh game content

This role entails a move from Russia and Belarus to one of our offices or potential remote work from other countries (excluding Russia and Belarus).

Tasks:

  • Testing games on mobile and desktop platforms
  • Enhancing team processes and testing strategies
  • Identifying issues and collaborating with the team to resolve them
  • Analyzing, creating, and updating test documentation

Our stack:

  • We conduct manual testing across numerous platforms using TeamCity for builds, 3uTools, ADB/AppCat, Charles Proxy
  • We utilize Qase for test case management, track crashes in Sentry, analyze data with Amplitude
  • We automate tests using Python

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years in manual testing of mobile applications (IOS/Android) or games
  • Experience with analytical systems and error monitoring tools
  • Proficiency in working with documentation, technical specifications, and test documentation
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity
  • Understanding of the development life cycle, programming basics, and client-server interaction

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with git and automated test development
  • Understanding of casual projects and match-3 genre specifics
  • Hands-on experience with Asana, Qase/TestRail/TestIT, Confluence/Coda, and marketing analytics systems
