Job Title: Incident Response Lead

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Job Type: Contract

You will be responsible for supporting teams during the restoration and remediation of cybersecurity incidents, as well as incident communications and the development of executive summaries. The IR Recovery Lead assists with threat analysis, containment, and recovery of critical systems and applications to restore normal business operations promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Provides engagement leadership and acts as the primary client contact in cybersecurity incidents
  • Gathers business requirements for effective business operations recovery
  • Offers support and guidance for customers facing security breaches
  • Acts as the primary interface with customer crisis management teams
  • Coordinates and communicates with clients and customer PMO
  • Assists customers in full recovery by aligning products/services with requirements
  • Provides insights for post-incident reviews

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of cybersecurity experience
  • Strong technical and consulting skills
  • Deep understanding of incident response best practices
  • Knowledge in data protection strategies and technologies
  • Experience with security/risk frameworks, standards, and best practices
  • Ability to develop security Incident Recovery standards and procedures
  • Experience in creating Disaster Recovery and Incident Recovery plans
  • Advanced understanding of cybersecurity Incident Recovery
  • Technical certification such as GCIH, CCFP, GCFE, GCFA, or equivalent
  • Previous Incident Response role experience
  • Knowledge of security vulnerabilities including OWASP Top 10 and SANS 25
  • Understanding of security technologies such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, and email security
  • Strong knowledge of network, application layer, and OS fundamentals
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and analytical skills
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Ability to function effectively in high-intensity situations
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred
  • Up to 50% travel across EMEA
