Position Purpose:

The Baler is responsible for securely processing client material daily, ensuring timely document destruction, maintaining equipment, and covering both morning and afternoon shifts when needed.

Key Job Activities:

  • Unload paper onto a conveyor belt
  • Operate the baling machine
  • Conduct maintenance checks on equipment
  • Communicate with team members
  • Monitor and maintain machinery
  • Inspect containers for repairs
  • Operate forklifts
  • Manage maintenance schedules
  • Ensure supplies are stocked

Education:

Required Education: GCSE

Experience:

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and previous baler equipment experience. Must possess a C driving licence.

Certifications and/or Licenses:

A current fork lift truck licence is preferred.
