Dublin, Dublin City, Ireland Workday, Inc. Full time

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager for iLX Operations & Strategic Initiatives, this Program Manager will think creatively and identify innovative solutions to support the management and delivery of our Early Talent Development Programs, ORBIT (full-time employees), and Atmosphere (Interns).

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify gaps in current offerings - collaborate with professionals, trainers, and team members to fill those gaps with new content and experiences
  • Lead change; research and suggest new and creative approaches to delivering interactive content to early talent
  • Continually update our evolving onboarding programs for accuracy and completeness for early talent's first days and months in the P&T Organization at Workday
  • Seek new internal and external offerings, methods, and strategies for encouraging and mentoring early talent to become successful members of the P&T Organization
  • Design, organize, and facilitate core program experiences (e.g., onboarding, in-person conferences, asynchronous learning experiences)
  • Coach and mentor early talent and people leaders to enhance technical and professional development
  • Maintaining positive relationships with various partners and stakeholders across the business
  • Facilitate live learning experiences - in-person and virtually via Zoom
  • Collaborate with various iLX Stakeholders (Learning Solution Architects, Instructional Designers, and Program Managers) to iterate on and enhance existing learning experiences

About You

You enjoy working closely with others, building strong cross-functional relationships and having some laughs along the way. You can generate a trusting, safe environment to collaborate, and you thrive with ambiguity. You have a passion for learning, early career development, sharing new ideas, and respectfully challenging the status quo.

You love creating learning experiences that ignite energy in participants and give them practical skills and tools that they can apply right away.

You take a non-dogmatic, framework-agnostic approach to learning - drawing from the most relevant practices and patterns in a thoughtful way to create great outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of Learning & Development experience
  • Extensive administrative & logistical experience managing in-person and virtual events
  • Strong facilitation skillset
  • Concrete experience working alongside and supporting a technical workforce

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passion for designing, planning, and executing highly engaging live learning and training experiences
  • Experience with planning and executing large-scale events
  • Experience working with early-in-career talent
