Overall Purpose of Job: To provide exceptional patient care with a focus on quality, respect, and compassion.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests on the vascular system to aid in the treatment of disorders and contributing to the hospital's vascular program.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

• Utilize current medical techniques and equipment for patient care
• Work closely with the Chief II Vascular Physiologist for service development
• Maintain clinical and patient care standards
• Provide orientation and training for department staff
• Conduct non-invasive diagnostic tests and report findings
• Communicate effectively with medical professionals and hospital staff
• Ensure timely delivery of patient procedures
• Maintain department records and equipment
• Participate in process improvement projects
• Adhere to infection control procedures
• Stay updated on developments in the field

Personal and Professional Responsibilities:

• Attend mandatory education sessions
• Maintain a professional portfolio
• Reflect a positive image for the hospital
• Participate in training and mentoring
• Engage in performance reviews

Educational Requirements:

Personal Specification:

Qualifications:

• Hold a BSc in Clinical Measurement or equivalent

• OR

• Equivalent scientific qualification as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurements Physiology (IICMP)

Experience:

• Minimum five years of experience in a Vascular Department
• Possess Advanced Life Support certification
• Good knowledge of Vascular
