Exciting Opportunity

Flywheel Digital is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our expanding team in Europe. As a top candidate, you will play a vital role in our tech team. We are looking for a fast learner who enjoys challenges and values responsibility and responsiveness.

You will collaborate with engineers and data scientists to work on different features of our eCommerce platform in an Agile setting. Your focus will be on driving innovation in a new marketplace to maintain our top-tier global software platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality, sustainable code
  • Enhance existing applications and functionalities
  • Manage technical debt and contribute to technical projects
  • Partner with the team on project planning, development, and deployment
  • Provide technical solutions to address challenges
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies for optimal solutions
  • Collaborate with product and engineering leaders on product architecture and future developments
  • Oversee cloud hosting environment management
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in a backend framework, preferably Java
  • Experience in distributed system design, deployment, preferably with AWS
  • Fullstack backend and frontend engineering experience
  • Ability to write clear, secure, and scalable code using Java
  • Passion for product development and user experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Agile environment experience and SCRUM participation
  • Knowledge of AWS environment configuration and NoSQL/relational databases
  • Proficient in test-driven development and continuous integration
  • Familiarity with using Git in a team environment
