We're on the lookout for a dedicated and efficient Commis Chef to handle meal prep tasks for the Chef de Partie and assist in various kitchen activities. The Commis Chef will be responsible for reporting any issues with kitchen equipment, managing deliveries, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness to ensure a safe working environment. Additionally, proper food storage is crucial to prevent wastage.

If you are organized and can complete tasks promptly, you could be our ideal Commis Chef. Successful candidates must follow instructions meticulously and adhere to food safety standards.

  • Accurately measure ingredients for the Chef de Partie.
  • Prepare ingredients, including seasoning meats and handling fruits and vegetables.
  • Create salads and sauces following the Chef de Partie's instructions.
  • Check and organize deliveries, ensuring quality and quantity.
  • Monitor restaurant supplies, alerting the supervisor to low stock.
  • Dispose of expired food products and maintain cleanliness.
  • Sanitize work areas and participate in basic cleaning.
  • Plate dishes according to the Chef de Partie's guidelines.
