Role Profile Summary:

Manage the daily operations of a team responsible for reviewing complex fund financial reporting deliverables by third-party service providers to ensure accuracy and resolve issues. Lead the development, implementation, and administration of strategic initiatives within the department.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide team members, set performance standards, and provide training for development.
  • Drive business results by reducing risk, improving processes, and achieving strategic outcomes.
  • Analyze reports for fund accuracy, validate results, and oversee key deliverables and provider performance.
  • Develop and execute operational plans to meet corporate objectives, recommend solutions, and analyze cost impact.
  • Prepare financial statements, present results to senior leaders, manage policies for process improvements.
  • Stay informed on accounting standards, document financial positions, and communicate impact to relevant parties.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders on accounting and regulatory matters.
  • Participate in special projects and other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance, CPA and/or MS/MBA preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience, with at least 2 years in financial services.
  • Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
