Servisource is hiring Radiation Therapists on behalf of our client, our client is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care and cutting-edge treatment options. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic team.

As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of radiation therapy treatment to patients diagnosed with cancer and other medical conditions. Working closely with oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals, you will be responsible for operating specialized radiation therapy equipment and ensuring the accurate and safe administration of radiation doses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the radiation oncology team.
  • Operate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment to deliver prescribed radiation doses to targeted areas.
  • Monitor patients during treatment sessions to ensure proper positioning and alignment for accurate dose delivery.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment procedures and potential side effects.
  • Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with advances in radiation therapy technology and techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
  • Have CORU registration or be in the process of same.
  • Must have at least 2 years experience
